  • Age & Travel: You must be at least 21 years old and possess a passport (if you are not a Namibian citizen). Be prepared to travel to Windhoek, Namibia – travel expenses will be covered by the program.
  • Geographic Location: You must be based in one of the following countries: Namibia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, Eswatini, or Lesotho.
  • Ethical Commitment: A strong commitment to ethical journalism and its established guidelines (such as those outlined by the Ethical Journalism Network) is essential. This includes adhering to principles of accuracy, fairness, impartiality, and accountability.
